Where have we seen this before......

Libertyville mayor wants meetings taped (click here)

He said he had received comments from several citizens that it was difficult to follow board actions and they suggested that televising the board meetings would be useful in enhancing village communications.

It was pointed out that nearby communities such as Mundelein, Grayslake and Gurnee routinely televise all board meetings on a public service cable channel, and then make the tapes available through the village's historical archives.

Should be interesting to watch what happens.

it wouldn't bother me to have them televised...but what is the cost vs. # of residents who have cable (local access)...let alone those who'd watch.


They should try to get some old AV equip donated
