I changed this as some have decided to take it in a new direction.

Mike your KNews comment indicates you are clearly an idiot! Your comment in case you forgot>>> "Sure hope KUSD and Hujik are smarter than all of Bear Stearns. They were saying everything was alright even the day before they collapsed. Maybe Allen should have done his homework before he spoke out if he didn't know the details." sov
sov (Mike): Are you trying to say that the board should not call for the probe? I for one think the board was right, but I guess the six high and might ones are right this time and you won't ever say anything good. Who knows if they dig deep enough maybe they'll find that Pollocoff is responsible for the bad investments, won't that make you happy.
His point is, it's OK for him to question Mr. Hujic's investment intelligence, a guy who owns his own investmnent company, but don't you dare question his. How ironic.
I don't think anyone was saying they are smarter than anyone else. Prudence doesn't dictate this type of investment...especially when funds involved in the investment were borrowed in the first place. 80 basis points of interest isn't the best possible return, especially on a risky CDO. Thanks W for allowing the fed to bail out BearsStern...therefore KUSD.
We shall see how this turns out..from the information I have seen and been told (by former school district employees), it will be chalked up to an unwise investment. Nothing illegal by any means, just not well thought out.
Blaming Hujik for this is all fine and good for those looking for a scapegoat. I am not sure on this, but one would think he gave KUSD direction in this situation. That being said, his direction would have had to have been approved prior to any commitment. Hujik wasn't alone in this.
Mike,
Haven't heard from you regarding our prior emails. You had said early April, and it's almost May. I received an email inquiring about Clean Water Utility, but nothing else. I understand you are busy, but it seems to me you did some posturing in order to not deal with me.
I am still upset regarding the Orchard and it's unprofessional approach (your words) to PTW regarding a water easement and would at least like to remedy that situation. If you'd just rather not, be forthright and say so...I am ok with that, honesty isn't always bad.
I am currently Property Owner Association President (third three-year term; eight years) for Prairie Trails-West Property Owners Association (PTWPOA). I want to make sure we utilize environmentally sound practices. I want to see the Village government treat all citizens with respect and listen when they bring concerns.

Wrong again, just like before.
Temper, temper. Why would anyone be offended by the truth?
So is anonymous number one saying allen is smarter than the average Bear (or hujik). What an ego!
Why does he get so upset about such a mundane comment? Isn't he the one who accused others of not doing their homework? Or was that Jolly J?

Clyde, what's your point?

Everyone should be questioned about everything.
No one should be immune - $20 million dollar investment loss is NOT ignorable!
That includes everyone sitting on the KUSD board and also the VPP board -- Is Pollocoff really a potential participant.
Cardinal rule of investing is never borrow money and then turn around and invest it.
Something stinks -- I just hope that we find out that this is just a bad set of decisions and NOT a big money maker for someone.
Someone once said that even a pig will occasionally find a pearl in slop...this might just be a fine example of that.
