Alex, your comments are about as boring as your YouTube videos. Mike, the purpose of a blog is to communicate your thoughts, not repost someone else's - that is kind of like plagiarism. Someone with a PhD like you should certainly know how to properly cite their sources… Or is that how you got through college?!?!
Like you said, it is a blog, not a Thesis. Sometimes I choose to let others make the comments. Why not link to other sources? That is not plagiarism: Copying or stealing someone else's words or ideas and claiming or presenting them as if they were your own (http://www.yourdictionary.com/plagiarism). I link to the actual source.
What comments are you referring to from Alex? I'm Village People. But then someone with a Ph.D. would know that according to you.
I actually appreciate Mike's simple postings. They are not plagaristic in nature, but rather informative.
Anyone who devotes time and effort to a blog/website/whatever should be applauded for doing such (even silly anonymous posters to an extent). Mike, Dick, Alex (and anyone else) may not have the same veiwpoints, but are most certainly entitled to(and should be encouraged) share said viewpoints.
I, for one, applaud and appreciate all of you and your efforts.
I am currently Property Owner Association President (third three-year term; eight years) for Prairie Trails-West Property Owners Association (PTWPOA). I want to make sure we utilize environmentally sound practices. I want to see the Village government treat all citizens with respect and listen when they bring concerns.
