Random thoughts

Hi all. I've created a new BLOG called Villaging in the Prairie. I'd like to hear general comments about different issues in the Village of Pleasant Priaire and I'll be adding my own once in a while. Let's keep it constructive and see if we can create a better Village. Thanks.

It is clear that the citizens are staging their own 'tea party' by taking things into their own hands.

The readers of this BLOG hopefully soon will have access to others that cover the village, etc.

Question:
Does the Recplex own their own snow plowing equiptment ? The reason I ask is because I leave for work in the early morning and my street is never plowed and yet when I do manage to make it onto Hwy 165 I see numerous snow plows in action at the Recplex parking lot.
Shouldn't public roads be priority over parking lots?

Answer:
RecPlex has pickup trucks with snowblades, used for RecPlex and park. Snowplows (big trucks) are used on Village streets. These pickups are used so that the regular snowplows can get out on the Village streets where they belong and not be wasted on the RecPlex.

Hwy 165 and Hwy 31 (Green Bay Road) are plowed by the state and county. Normally Village streets are plowed before county and state hwys (our crews are BETTER!).
