Texas J's Gentlemen Club
Kenosha News reported that the Club was moving to a site on Sheridan Road. If State condemns and needs land for interstate, why doesn't the State provide some area for them along interstate instead of further within the Village? Time for Village to beef up their ordinances to prevent this ridiculous move.

What do you have against Texas J's? If you're against this type of club, then you should be against it wherever it's located in the Village. If you're not, what difference is it that it's on Sheridan? Could this be a NIMBY response on your part?
There you go, wanting the state's deficit to be higher, and for our statewide taxes to go up. That's what happens if the "state" provides land on I94 instead of simply paying compensation for this "taking". Because the "state" is really your pocket and mine. And I don't want you picking my pocket just because you don't like a lawful business and where it's located.
You and the Kenosha News-Pravda should be proud of yourselves for being on-message, comrade.
Mike's post would make alotta sense IF there was a school or a church right next to the potential new spot for Texas J's. Or even a potential Hussey's situation where, from what I heard, the bar closed due to frequent neighbor complaints.
But, without a blatant community planning blunder such as a school or church nextdoor, or TJ's tucked in the middle of a neighborhood, then Any Mouse just may be right: we all should have no problem with a legal, responsible TJ's on Sheridan.
Anyone know where their new spot might be? The exact spot seems to make a big difference.

I guess anonymous must be a stakeholder. I don't want it any where. Leave it out by interstate on State land if State wants to help it relocate. Village needs to make as difficult as possible. NIMBY? you have no idea what is coming.

I'll get over it. Goose steppers who would have the place closed down should move to puritanical Utah or middle PA to live in the stone ages. Texas J's place isn't hurting anyone, and it's not causing any problems with overcrowding/noise/what have you....why should it be shut down? It's similar to the Gordy's issue....why the non-conforming issue? Let 'em sell it until the Village Green project moves forward...if it does.
